Description: Air classifying of dry powders. Due to their particle size distribution, some processed products still do not meet application requirements. Fine fractions or oversized particles interfere with further processing or make the final product unsuitable for the targeted application. Different machine designs are available, depending on the desired cut points or application. Machine sizes are available for nearly all ranges of capacity. We carry out the project planning, production and commissioning of individual machines as well as complete classifying plants. Such products require additional "optimization" to meet the desired particle size distribution necessary to improve the product's characteristics. Customarily products with a particle size range of >100 µm can be classified without difficulty using a screening machine, however, air classifiers are essential for finer particle size distributions that require a more controlled separation.

When a screening machine cannot be used to separate fine powder due to the desired final fineness or other product characteristics, our "standard" ultra-fine classifier, CFS, can.he user friendly machine housing allows the machine to be thoroughly cleaned, fast, when product or batches are changed.

This high efficiency air classifier was developed for ultra-fine, sharp separation, and is often used in conjunction with grinding plants.The optimized classifier wheel geometry produces the finest cut points and high yields that have not been possible with production scale conventional air classifiers with only one classifier wheel.

An InLine classifier combined with a fine grinding mill enables one to reduce the number plant components and energy! The intermediate separation of the product after the grinding stage is no longer required eliminating the need for cyclone, filter and exhaust blower.
