NOTOS® 2 NS – Two Screw Pumps

Description: This pump has one drive screw, transferring torque through a hydrodynamic film to the rotating intermeshing driven screw. Screws are encased in housing made of ferrometal. Screw geometry and housing shape the pump chamber. Rotating speed, screw diameter and screw pitch determine the speed of flow. Inside lubricated by the medium. Four special bearing bushes keep the screws aligned. Axial force resulting from pumping is close to zero because of hydraulic balancing of the pump.

NOTOS® 4 NS – Geared Twin Screw Pumps

Product type: Pumps and Systems
Description: Two shafts with four screws rotate in the inner housing. No contact between the screws and between screws and inner housing. No metal to metal contact. Two shafts are synchronized by a pair of harmonized gears set away from the pumping chamber. Liquid is pumped from the periphery towards the center. Pumping chamber consists of four screws and inner casing.
