Clay for concrete products

With Concresol®, Stephan Schmidt Group offers a concrete admixture in accordance with DIN EN 12620 and 13139. The main fields of application are concrete products, mortar systems, cement suspensions and building chemicals. All these applications make use of the controlled thixotroping properties of Concresol®.

Clay for foundries

Refrasol® clay powders and bentonites are used in unshaped refractory products for the steel and foundry industries and as auxiliary agents for the supplying industries.

Mainly low-iron clays with high contents of aluminum are suitable for these applications, but also sand is used for various purposes.

Filler

Finely ground and classified special clays are used as fillers in many different fields of application. Plastic materials, elastomers, coatings as well as adhesives and sealants represent only a small section of the broad spectrum of target markets. Prerequisites for these fields of application are degrees of fineness with maximum sieve residues (wet screening) of 0.005% on 40 µm.
