High density alumina balls XIETA®-92

Especially suitable for grinding both abrasive and hard raw materials such as corundum, silicon carbide, zirconium, feldspars, clinker, enamels, porcelains, etc. and with the purpose to obtain thinner residuum at the end of the milling process. Due to their mechanical properties and crystalline internal structure, you can obtain particle sizes up to 2 microns at the end of the milling process.

These balls are produced with top average alumina in its highest degree of calcination, which gives them very good mechanical properties. Due to is elevated purity and low silica content, these balls are specially designed for top temperature applications in harsh environments, where we can find the action of acids and steam at high temperatures.
